Upea kokemus: It was an amazing experience. Our guide explained us everything in detail and then we started a long and beautiful trip through the snowy forest to a cozy hut where we got some tasty salmon soup. Every sled was shared by 2 persons, one driving and one as a passenger an we were able to switch several times. The dogs are extremely nice and gentle and always really eager to run. There was enough time for some cuddles too. I definitely plan on coming back for another safari. Thank you Extreme Huskies!

Upea kokemus: My girlfriend and I came to Finland for the northern lights but we stayed for the dogs! Extreme huskies was the highlight of our trip! A wonderful experience with Matthew who was insightful, knowledgeable and, above all, kind. We learnt so much about husky sledging and left with lovely memories of our four-legged running partners. Shoutout to naughty Taco, gentle Hombre and youthful Margo. Recommend to do the safari with lunch (it’s definitely worth the higher price). Next time we want to try the overnight experience!

Upea kokemus: The guide was really nice and the wxperience as a whole was amazing. You can see the real nature and the dogs are wonderful! The lunch was simple and tasty but the hut where they took us to have it was really nice.

Upea kokemus: Great experience with a friendly and experienced guide, and happy dogs. Even had a Husky puppy experience as a bonus at the end.

Upea kokemus: We had a wonderful tour - 4-hour-Lunch-ride. The guide (and the Huskies) were very professional and friendly. We were 3 sleds, so it was easy for the guide to take care of us - and we made a steady pace on the sled. There was lot of time to pet the dogs and ask question about dog sledding. Nice fish soup and bread for lunch - prepared over the fire in the hut at the top of the hill with an amazaing view of the surrounding landscape. We felt very safe during the ride. By far the best dog sled tour we have tried.

Upea kokemus: We took the 2-hour tour and the experience was unique. We went through a long journey of ups and downs, were very well guided, and everything was very clear. In the end, they gave us tea or hot coffee, and they showed us the puppies with which we were able to take some photos. Highly recommended.

Upea kokemus: Een geweldig leuke activiteit om te doen als je van honden houdt. In vergelijking met andere aanbieders zijn zij gunstig geprijsd. We hadden de 4 uur durende tocht met gids Matthew. Hij zorgde voor goede uitleg, goede begeleiding en iedereen had het naar zijn zin. De honden zagen er goed, gezond en gelukkig uit. En ze waren allemaal lief en knuffelig. Een aanrader!

Upea kokemus: Truly a great experience to go out with the dogs and see their enthusiasm to go go go! And then also being very playful and cute during the lunch break halfway the tour. Thanks for enabling removal of this big bucket list item!

Upea kokemus: We are family of 2 adults and 2 children and did the 2 hour coffee safari on 31 January. We all really enjoyed the experience (1 adult and 1 child per sled) and the time with the dogs before and after and learning about the dogs and culture too.

Positiivinen kokemus: Hicimos con ellos la excursión de dos horas y fue todo muy bien. No le doy 5 estrellas porque nos tocó un grupo regular y fuimos muy muy despacio toda la ruta y perdió emoción y un poco de gracia. Supongo que es cuestión de suerte... Recomendable en cualquier caso. El personal muy amable y los perros lo mejor de todo los nuestros se portaron genial, al final de la ruta puedes tomar un té y te dejan unos cachorros.

Upea kokemus: Absolutely amazing! I got a tip from another company which doesn’t provide the husky safari anymore and it was a superb experience! Originally, I had a big respect as I saw in some TV show how difficult it is to drive it but with safari dogs it was a very relaxing ride (max 15 kmph), with a few simple rules to follow. One surprise: our team was quite heavy, so while climbing up to the hill, I had to step down and push the sleigh by myself, too. I was dressed for sitting in sleigh = warmly, so excercising was a surprise and I was sweating like in sauna (only the temperature around me was -10 C :-)) Very friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere, beautiful nature… I would give even one star more for the beanie, it saved me several times after, too ;-) In comparison to some other providers in the area this one is rather above average in terms of money to be paid, however, every single cent is worth it. I almost forgot: the puppies! You can cuddle the little future racers after the ride! So cute!

Upea kokemus: Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei den Extreme Huskies und haben zwei Nächte im Hut übernachtet sowie an einer 2-stündige Husky-Tour teilgenommen. Die Hut's befinden sich mitten in der Natur, von dort aus lassen sich direkt kleine Wanderungen unternehmen, die Sauna ist toll und mit dem Auto ist man schnell in der nächsten "Stadt". Wir kommen gerne wieder!

I really appreciate the extra layers provided by the company, though frozen toes seem inevitable (but absolutely worth it). The scenery is stunning, the dogs are friendly, and the guides clearly care for them. I enjoyed hearing about the guide’s background and the unique personalities of the dogs during the lunch break.

Beautiful dogs; loved and loving and enjoying themselves immensely. The nature was stunning and the day was perfect. I particularly enjoyed being able to chat with the dogs; we all did - and the dogs did too. And salmon soup around a fire was equally special. Fabulous. Worth every euro.

The 4-hour ride through the stunning Arctic landscape, combined with a delicious lunch, made for a perfect experience. Lauri was an amazing and fun guide, providing great support throughout the tour. This was by far one of the best experiences in Lapland—truly memorable and highly recommended!

Upea kokemus: YES, book this tour! We took the four-hour tour in mid-February 2025 and loved every moment. It’s amazing that you get to ride the sleigh yourself, and the dogs seem well cared for. The scenery is breathtaking, making the experience even more special. Lunch was tasty, though not very large, so if you have a big appetite, bringing a small snack is a good idea. There was plenty of time to cuddle the dogs and take photos with them. Highly recommend!

Upea kokemus: We went for the 2hr husky safari last week and my only regret is that we didn’t do the longer tour! This experience surpassed my expectations. The staff are friendly and super chill. The dogs were amazing and the best part of the whole tour was meeting week old puppies at the end. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. They provided suits for the actual sledding and we had so much fun. I love that it was in the wilderness away from large tourist areas. You can tell they love and take very good care of their dogs too. Would highly reccomend this company if you are looking to experience a husky ride in Lapland!

To start, we chose the Coffee Safari, and the route was excellently planned: diverse, well-selected, and set in a stunning landscape. The team at Extreme Husky is highly experienced and takes great care of the dogs. Their passion is evident in everything they do, and they share their knowledge with enthusiasm, making you feel completely at ease. On our next trip to Finland, we will definitely return for a longer tour. We can highly recommend Extreme Husky!

Upea kokemus: Richtig klasse Ausflug, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen! Wir hatten die 2-Stunden-Tour und sind voll auf unsere Kosten gekommen. Über 100 Huskys inkl. Welpen vor Ort, sehr authentisch und nicht überladen. Auf jeden Fall mehrere Schichten Kleidung anziehen, wir hatten -25 Grad.

Upea kokemus: Wat een unieke ervaring was dit! Met onze gids Matthew een 4 uur durende trip met de honden gedaan met een lekker lunch tussendoor. We waren met een beetje geluk ook de enigste dus hadden een private tour! De honden waren super lief en wilden ook graag even knuffelen. Heel gaaf om ook zelf de slee met honden te mogen besturen, dit was al een lange wens en het kon niet beter!

Upea kokemus: Aanrader in Lapland! We gingen op tocht met onze gids Matthew, die trouwens heel vriendelijke ouders heeft. Na een moeizame start waarbij de honden verstrengeld waren in de touwen en hun behoeften deden, sleeën we vlot door het bos en op de meren. Na een goed uurtje kwamen we aan bij een hut voor even te rusten en wat te eten. De plek is prachtig. Op het menu stond vissoep. Na het eten gingen we weer op pad.

Upea kokemus: Expérience génial !!! La personne qui s'est occupée de nous était super. Il faisait très chaud lorsque nous sommes venus (0°) et elle a pris soin de prendre le temps de faire des pauses après les montées pour que les chiens se rafraîchissent. Ils prennent soins des animaux ce qui est extrêmement important pour nous. Nous avons fait le tour de 4h avec une soupe de saumon à midi, délicieux et le tour était magnifique !

Upea kokemus: Un moment Magique tant par l ambiance de la Forêt enneigée, la gentillesse de l équipe et La Douceur et la Beauté des chiens. On a fait la sortie de 4h00, vraiment je recommande vivement avec pause au milieu de nulle part pour une bonne soupe au coin du feu. On avait 6 chiens de très calins et adorables comme tous. On ressent vraiment l envie des chiens de vouloir partir en Ballade. L equipe est vraiment accueillante et attentionnée avec leurs chiens. Vaut Vraiment le prix et d'être vécu. Un Grand Merci à toute l équipe de Extrême Huskies, et de grosses caresses aux chiens.

Un grand merci à lauriane " la française " qui fut notre guide pour sa gentillesse, sa bienveillance ses explications sur la vie du chenil et les chiens, sa passion des chiens et son métier. Le point fort de notre séjour à Aurora Ivalo. Je recommande fortement.

Upea kokemus: This adventure was so much fun!! Like nothing we’ve ever done before. Being out in the middle of the forest, led by sled dogs was pretty epic. The staff were very kind, we learned so much about the dogs. Great experience overall!!

Upea kokemus: The host was superb awesome in giving us the husky tours as well as the detailed explanation about the husky dogs. Dogs are superb active and friendly. Warm clothings are provided as well as warm drink after the tour ride. Suggestion: to have another guide at the back of the group for safety purposes in case the one in the upfront is way too infront to assist the ones at the back of the line.

Upea kokemus: A must do for every dog and adventure lover. I did the 4 hour Lunch Safari. I was greetet by cute dogs and our very friendly guide. The group was introduced in the use of the sled and then the beautiful Adventure began. We drove throu snowy woods and mountains. Driver and Passanger change the seat, so everyone can drive and make photos. In the middle of the toor, we did a Break on a Little house with lunch and fire and our guide answered all our questions to the dogs. At the end we drove over a beatiful lake.

Upea kokemus: We just returned from our holiday in Lapland, where we booked a 2 hour husky sled ride with Extreme Huskies. And that was a great experience. Instructor Dominik, who was very nice to us, welcomed us immediately after our arrival (by the way he was Czech as we are). He advised us what to wear for a ride, because we were not sure about that. After a simple instruction how to handle the sled we set out on the tour. The ride was really a great experience. After the ride we could cuddle with the dogs and then at coffee and tea we let Dominik explain to us how does it work on the farm. We were also interested in the husky sled races. It was very pleasant. We can only recommend to everybody. Nedávno jsme se vrátili z naší dovolené z Laponska, kde jsem měli objednanou jízdu na saních s husky spřežením u Extreme Huskies. Byla to fantastická zkušenost. Hned při našem příjezdu na místo nás uvítal velice milý instruktor Dominik (mimochodem stejně jako my Čech). Poradil nám, jak se na jízdu obléct, jelikož jsme si nebyli jistí, co na sebe. Po jednoduché instruktáži jsme vyrazili na cestu. Jízda byla pro nás skvělý nový zážitek. Po jízdě jsme si pohráli s psíkama a pak si od Dominika u čaje a kávy nechali vyprávět, jak to na husky farmě chodí. Jak probíhají závody psích spřežení. Moc příjemné posezení. Vřele doporučujem.

Upea kokemus: Sooo much fun! We did the 4 hour tour and this was likely the highlight of our Lapland trip. Dogs were well cared for - the goodest boys and girls - and our guide Elvis was knowledgeable and passionate.

Upea kokemus: Wir haben die 2 Stunden Coffee Safari gebucht und hatten ein tolles Erlebnis! Die Hunde waren sehr motiviert und man hat gemerkt, dass sie Lust darauf hatten zu rennen. Es gab zu Beginn warme Kleidung und einige Instruktionen, dann durfte man den Schlitten selbst fahren. Bei der Hälfte der Strecke wurden ein paar Bilder gemacht und der Fahrer konnte gewechselt werden. Die Fahrt durch die verschneite Winterlandschaft war super schön. Anschließend war noch Zeit, die Puppies zu besuchen, all unsere Fragen zu beantworten und sich am Feuer aufzuwärmen.

Upea kokemus: Maravillosos!!! La actividad es completa y divertida, no es una hora de trineo, te da tiempo a disfrutarlo de verdad. Además de esto estuvimos con Sophia que fue encantadora, dedicada y muy amable, nos explicaba todo lo que queríamos y fue una gran guía. Conocimos también a Alexis, que nos contó más cosas sobre los animales y Finlandia, se nota que es un enamorado de su trabajo, fantástico. Sin duda, no dudaríamos en volver a hacer esta actividad con ellos!!!

Upea kokemus: Personale preparato e bellissimo percorso in mezzo alla natura lappone. Abbiamo fatto il safari di 4h con sosta pranzo in un bellissimo posto tra gli abeti. La ragazza che ci guidava è stata perfetta, nonostante quel giorno ci siano state diverse difficoltà, tra cani che non erano stati divisi benissimo tra una slitta e l'altra e quindi litigavano tra di loro e ripetute cadute di uno dei partecipanti, il che ha purtroppo rallentato di molto l'intera esperienza. Ma succede, ed è stato gestito nel modo migliore dallo staff. Rifarei l'esperienza!

Upea kokemus: Great experience! They were very punctual regarding our pick-up. The instructions were fast which allowed us to get started quickly. The dogs were friendly and the instructor and guide very helpful. Only wish we have done the 4 hour safari for a fuller experience :)

Piacevole la merenda finale nella capanna a fine percorso. Unica pecca, molte soste durante il percorso e impossibilità di percorrere a velocità più sostenuta un tratto più lungo.

Wie hatten die zwei Stündige Tour und konnten auf der Hälfte der Strecke einen Fahrerwechsel machen. Die Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit und nett.

Upea kokemus: War super schön, die Hunde mega süß und haben einen guten Job gemacht. Auch das drum herum war Klasse, sehr nette Gespräche mit vielen Randinformationen über die Hunde, über die Farm, aber auch das Leben in Finnland selbst. Einfach nur empfehlenswert.

Upea kokemus: I booked a 2-hour Husky sledding safari, which was an absolutely unique and unforgettable experience. The length of the ride was perfect. The group size was ideal (total number of sledges was 5, including the instructor's sledge). The huskies were all well-trained and obedient. The staff was very friendly and professional, they contributed a lot to this amazing experience. Unlike many other husky sledge provider, if you choose them, you will drive your own sled, which was one of the main reasons why I've chosen them. Before the actual sledge started, the staff provided safety instructions, so you get acquainted with the basis. In one another thing they also differs from many other providers is that you do the sledge in the nature, surrounded by snowy pines, which was very picturesque. One of my dreams came true with this experience. :)

Upea kokemus: We recently went on a husky safari in Ivalo. The experience offered a unique way to explore the snowy landscapes of Finnish Lapland. Our guide, Dominic, provided necessary instructions and shared some insights into the huskies' training.
